Snack yellow peas (gateaux dal)

Ingredients
. 250G yellow peas
. 2 onions (chopped)
. 2 green chilies (chopped)
. 1bowl watercress (chopped)
. 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
. 1 tbsp ginger paste
.1 tbsp garlic paste
. ½ bowl fresh green spring onion (chopped)
. 1 teaspoon baking powder
. Salt
.Oil for frying





Method
. Soak yellow peas for a night
. Drain all the water from the peas
. Blend yellow peas into a fine paste
. Add all the ingredients to the paste
. Mix well
. Heat oil in a pan
. Make small balls with the paste and drop into hot oil
.Deep Fry on medium heat till become golden brown
.Remove and Put on absorbent paper
. Serve hot with sauces
. Can also serve with breads or even use in dishes like Curry
