vermicelli sweets

.1 tin sweetened condensed milk
.1 ½ cups vermicelli
.1 cup grated coconut
.1 cup, peeled and chopped almonds
.few saffron threads (soaked in a little milk)

.in a pan, dry roast the vermicelli till light brown
.Boil vermicelli in excess water till slightly soft. Drain
.In a pan mix together with condensed milk, roasted and cooked vermicelli, coconut and almonds
.cook on low heat till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
.Add saffron threads
.grease a flat dish or tray
.Pour the mixture on the greased dish/tray and let to cool
.cut into desired shapes and serve
