Banana croquettes

Banana croquettes


. 250 G flour of all purpose

. 3 ripe bananas

. 3 tbsp milk powder

. 2 tbsp sugar

. 1 tbsp fennel seeds

. ½ teaspoon baking soda


. Oil for fry


. Peel bananas and make puree

. Pour flour in a large bowl, mix with milk powder, sugar, fennel seeds, and baking powder

. Add banana puree and water mix to make a thick paste (not too much dry)

. Heat Oil and pour 1 tbsp of the paste to make small balls

. Drained on a kitchen towel and serve hot with tea or coffee


Vermicelli Pudding

Vermicelli Pudding


. 300 g roasted Vermicelli

. 3 tbsp pure ghee

. 2 tbsp sugar

. 3 cups water

. 1 handful dried grapes

. 5 cardamom cloves

. 2 cinnamon stick (break into quarters)

. 1 small bowl almond slices

. 1 pinch saffron threads or food color

Methods for Vermicelli Pudding

. Heat a large pan, add ghee

. Add cardamom cloves, cinnamon sticks, dried grapes and almond slices. Stir and let to fry for 5 minutes

. Add water, saffron threads or food color, stir and add sugar. Mix until sugar dissolves

. Add vermicelli and keep stirring until the vermicelli absorb all the liquid from the pan

. Remove from pan and serve hot with tea

Strawberry milkshake

Strawberry milkshake


.250 g fresh ripe strawberries (hulled and sliced)

. ½ cup milk

.2 tbsp sugar

.2 tbsp vanilla ice cream

.1 teaspoon vanilla extract

. Whole strawberries for garnish

Method for Strawberry milkshake

.Add sliced strawberries in a bowl, Mix with sugar and vanilla extract. Keep aside and allow to “confit” for 20 minutes to 1 hour

.Pour sliced strawberries in a mixture bowl, following with the ice cream, milk and ice cubes. Blend until become smooth

. Pour strawberry milkshake in glasses

.Garnish with whole strawberries

.serve immediately
