prawns curry

Ingredients
. 10 Prawns
. 2 tomatoes (chopped)
. 1 onion (chopped)
. 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
. 3 tbsp curry powder
. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
. 1 teaspoon chili powder
. 1 tbsp garlic paste
. 1 tbsp ginger paste
. ½ lemon (peeled and chopped)
. ½ tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)
. 2 curry leaves (chopped)
. Salt
. 2 tbsp oil




Method

. Heat oil in a pan, add prawns and stir till it turns red. Remove prawns, keep aside and add onion and curry leaves. Let fry for some minutes
.Add garlic and ginger paste, stir for some minutes. Add curry powder, chili powder, salt, turmeric powder and ¼ cup water. Let simmer for 5 minutes or till the water evaporate
. Add chopped tomatoes and garlic, stir for 2 minutes. Add prawns to the mixture with a little of water, about ¼ cup. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes
. Remove from heat; add chopped lemon, and fresh chopped coriander, mix well
. Serve hot
