Nankathai

Ingredients
. 3 cups flour
. 1 cup semolina
. 1 cup powdered sugar
. ½ tbsp cardamom powder
. ½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
. ½ teaspoon saffron threads
. 1 egg
. 1 cup melted ghee
. 1 cup cooking oil


Methods
.In a bowl, add all liquid ingredients with powdered sugar
. Whisk vigorously with a handy mixer
. In another bowl, mix all dry ingredients
. Add dry mixed ingredients to the liquid mixture
.Mix with hand to form dough
.Preheat oven at 180°C
.Make small balls with the dough, and flatter with the hand palms
.Put on baking tray
.With help of a knife, draw lines at the top
.Bake for 20 minutes, or till biscuits become brown
.Serve with tea or coffee
