kidney bean

Ingredients
.2 ½ cups kidney beans (soaked overnight or in hot water for 2 hours and drained)
.2 onions (chopped)
.2 tbsp tomato puree
. 1 small potato (cut into dices)
.1 small carrot (cut into dices)
. ½ tbsp ginger paste
. ½ tbsp garlic paste
.1 tbsp red chili powder
.3 ½ cups water
. ¼ cup vegetable oil
.Salt
.coriander leaves for garnish




Methods
.Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add chopped onions, and fry till golden brown. Add ginger and garlic paste. Stir for few seconds. Add tomato puree, chili powder and salt. Stirring occasionally.
.Add beans, potatoes, carrot and water .stir and close the pressure cooker. Cook for 25 minutes
.Remove from heat, serve in a serving bowl
.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
