Pizza with corn kernels and olives

Pizza Olives

For dough
.300 G flour
.4 tbsp olive oil
.20 g dry yeast
.20 cl warm water
.1 pinch salt
. ½ teaspoon dried oregano
For tomato sauce
.500G fresh tomatoes
.1onion (chopped)
.1clove garlic (grated)
.1 tbsp olive oil
For garnish
.8 green olives
.8 black olives
.1yellow chili pepper (cut into slices)
. 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves (finely chopped)
.1tomato (cut into slices)
.1 ball mozzarella (cut into fine slices)
.1 bowl corn kernels
.150 G mushroom (cut into slices)
.2 tbsp olive oil

For dough
.Dissolve yeast in 20 cl warm water
.combine flour with salt, oregano and olive oil in a large bowl
.Add water with dissolve yeast in flour
.Knead for 5 minutes to make a dough
.Cover the bowl with a cloth, and leave the dough to rest for about 50 minutes or till increase the volumes
Preparation of tomato sauce
.Drop tomatoes into boiled water for 30 seconds remove and put into cold water. Peel off the skins, remove the seeds and chopped them
.add olive oil in a saucepan, add garlic and onion. Stir and fry for 3 minutes
.Add tomatoes, salt, Blackpepper, and oregano, cover and let simmer on medium heat
.Preheat oven at 240°C
.Grease a pizza tray
.spread flour on a working plan, roll the dough into round shape
.Place pizza rolled dough on greased tray
.Brush dough with 1 tbsp olive oil, pick with a fork and pour tomato sauce over it
.Garnish with mushroom, olives, basil leaves, corn kernels, yellow chili pepper, tomato slices and mozzarella
.Spread the rest of remaining olive oil all over the pizza
.Put in oven and bake for 20 minutes until it turn into golden brown and cheese melt
.serve hot 😉

Pizza burger

Pizza Burger

For dough
.500G flour
.350 ml warm water
. ¼ cup olive oil
.5 g dry yeast
.salt to taste
For garnish
. 4 tomatoes (chopped)
.300g minced beef meat or chicken (according to your choice)
.2 tbsp olive oil
.2 balls mozzarella
.200 ml cream cheese
. ½ cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)

For dough
.Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl
.Add olive oil and warm water, Mix the flour to make a dough
. Spread dry flour on a working surface, work the dough for about 25 minutes
. Put the dough in the bowl, cover with a damp cloth, leave for rest for 1 hour
Prepare garnish
.heat oil in a saucepan, add minced chicken or beef meat. Fry for 15 minutes
.Add chopped tomatoes, and a little water. Cook till tomatoes become soft
.Add basil leaves and cooks for more 5 minutes
.preheat oven at 225°C
.remove dough from bowl, work for more 5 minutes
.Make medium balls with the dough
.Roll each ball to square, Pick with a fork, add garnish preparation in middle, follow with cream cheese and mozzarella for each roll
.Close them, by joining the four sides
.Place on a grease baking tray
.bake till turn to a brown color
.Dress according to your taste
.serve hot with salads and sauces

Puri (Mauritian Ti Puri)


. 1 kg flour
. 3 tbsp yogurt
.1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
.1 teaspoon salt
. ½ teaspoon black pepper
. 3 tbsp melted butter
. Hot water
.Oil for frying

.Combine flour with baking powder and sieve 2 times
.Put flour in a large plate
.Add salt, yogurt, Black pepper and melted butter to the flour, mix well
. Add hot water, and mix with help of a wooden spoon or with hand itself. Make a dough
. Put the dough in a bowl and leave for rest in room temperature for 1 hour
. Make small balls with the dough
. Roll each ball round
. Heat oil, to check if the oil is ready, Take a piece of dough and put in the oil. If the dough comes up, means it’s ready
. Put one by one the Puri in oil, Fry on medium heat.
. Do not fry the Puris completely brown; Make it the same color as it shows in the picture above 😉
.Serve with Sauces, or Other dishes
