Pizza snail



For dough:

. 2 cups and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

.260 ml lukewarm water

.1 teaspoon instant yeast

. 1 tablespoon salt

. 1 teaspoon sugar

. 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil

.  1 tablespoon dried oregano


For stuffing

.  1 cup canned chop tomatoes

.  1 cup mozzarella, grated

.  1 cup Cheddar, grated




. Preheat oven to 200 °C

. Dissolve the yeast in the water, along with the olive oil, salt and sugar and leave the mixture for 5-10 minutes. Let the yeast to start foaming

.  Add oregano to the flour. Knead the dough with yeast mixture

.  Let the dough stay for some 3 hours. You can also put in a large bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight

. Divide the dough into two parts and roll each on a lightly floured surface. The dough should be rolled thin but shouldn’t be translucent

.  Spread a thin layer of the tomatoes follow by mozzarella and cheddar. Repeat with the remaining dough

 . Roll up slowly, starting with the long end and slightly pinch the ends together

.  Cut with a sharp knife to desire thickness on a baking sheets covered with parchment. If you have some unused tomatoes, slightly brush the top of the pizzas with them – you will get a lovely crust

.Bake them for about 20 minutes

. Remove from oven and now you can serve them immediately. If you are going to serve them later then you will need to cover the pizza with a clean kitchen towel to keep them soft and fresh.

Basil Pizza

. For the dough:

. 21 g fresh yeast

.1 pinch sugar

.450 g flour

.4 tbsp olive oil


. For the filling:

. ½ kg ripe tomatoes (cut into slices)

. 1 big bowl tomato sauce

.300 g of mozzarella cheese

.white pepper

.1 handful of fresh Basil leaves

. Crumble the yeast into a large bowl, and mix with 200 ml of warm water and sugar. Add flour, olive oil and salt and knead until dough is smooth. Cover and let rest for 1 hour in a warm place

.make 4 balls with the dough and roll them into circles of about 22 cm in diameter, make sure the edge is a little thicker

. pour tomato sauce over each rolled dough

.spread Salt and pepper on tomato slices and place the slices on the pizza dough leaving a small edge

. Cut the mozzarella in thin slices and spread them on the tomatoes. Sprinkle with a bit of olive oil.

.Cook each pizza for first 10 minutes on 220 °C, remove, spread some white pepper, fresh chopped basil leaves and olive oil over and cook for more 10 minutes

.Garnish with more basil leaves and serve

. 750 g pizza dough
. 1 ½ bowl tomato puree
. ½ bowl grated cheddar cheese
. 1 bowl grated mozzarella cheese
.1 tbsp oregano
. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
.Black pepper
. 2 tbsp olive oil
.10 fresh tomatoes

.preheat oven at 180°C
. Grease a rounded mold of 10 cm of thickness
. Place pizza dough in the mold, by making the round side thicker than the middle
.precook pizza for 10 minutes
.in a bowl, add tomato puree, garlic powder, olive oil, cheddar cheese, oregano, salt and black pepper. Mix well and keep aside
.remove precooked pizza from oven, place grated mozzarella in the middle, and add tomato puree mixture
.cook for more 20 minutes or pick to see if the pizza is ready
.remove from heat, place fresh tomatoes and serve
